Around August 2020, Tesla changed the design of the interior liner in the Model 3’s frunk. It no longer has the ‘frunk hook’ style screw covers, and the interior shape of the frunk was changed which leads to speculation that Tesla may be preparing to include a heat pump – similar to the Model Y (src).

Instead, there are 2 large depressions at the top of frunk where the mounting screws are hidden. Model 3 owners should be able to simply insert a wooden dowel (or similar) longer than the depth of the screw detents and not too long to contact the hood when it’s closed, and then loop shopping bag handles over those protruding parts of the dowel.
